The facility houses the following research instrumentation and related infrastructure:
  • Waters/Micromass Quattro premier LC/MS/MS
  • Numerous Waters and Varian HPLC systems
  • Dionex Accelerated Solvent Extraction system (ASE)
  • Preparative HPLC
  • Nicolet 6700 FTIR with ATR, NIR capabilities
  • FTIR imaging Microscope
  • Thermo Energy Dispersive XRF
  • Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (Ocean optics system)
  • Varian AA with graphite furnance
  • Varian 3800 GC with 2000 Ion trap MS and Combipal autosampler
  • Varian 3800 GC with 1200 MS/MS Triple Quadrupole with thermal desorption and Pyrolysis
  • GV Isotope Ratio MS with Elemental analyser and GC interface
  • Ion Chromatograph system
  • Small CNC mill/lathe and other fabrication equipment.
